Fundación Triptolemos

Since 2004, Alimentaria has worked in conjunction with the Triptolemos Foundation, an organisation devoted to promoting agri-food research in Spain.
The newest edition of the virtual catalogue which Alimentaria publishes for each exhibition will include a scientific report on CD-ROM titled “Intitutional research in the agri-food sector in Spain”, produced by the Triptolemos Foundation.
 
The Triptolemos Foundation has risen to the challenge of updating information on current research in Spain by launching the third edition of a project that will accompany Alimentaria’s exhibitor catalogue at each edition of the trade fair. This project consists in a first-class database that includes information on the research areas, researchers and R&D&I projects carried out in Spain over the past 5 years, covering 16 agri-food sectors and corresponding to the 15 sector-specific shows that make up the exhibition.  
 
One of the new developments for 2008 is the inclusion of doctoral theses related to the food industry, which will provide companies with information on young researchers.
