

Restaurama, International Lounge of the Restoration there received in BCNVanguardia's burners, the second edition of the final of the Cook of the Year Contest. A contest that has turned into the first one of his category in Spain, presided by Martin Berasategui, exclusive for professionals and supported by the World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS). 
The chef Beatriz Sotelo of the restaurant "A Estacion" in Cambre (A Coruña), was proclaimed a winner of the Final belonging to the second edition of the Cook of the Year Contest, an exciting gastronomic day celebrated in the space BCNVanguardia of the Lounge Restaurama of Alimentaria.
Sotelo was recognized as the best chef among other seven finalists, being the second position for Raúl Rincón (restaurant NH Palacio de Oriol, of Santurce, Biscay) and the third one for Juan Andrés Rodríguez (restaurant El Claustro, of Granada).
The Galician cook (26 years), the only girl selected among 80 cooks who reached eight semi-finals disputed by the whole Spain, with more than one thousand of inscriptions, managed to seduce the select juror of the final with the elaboration of a menu composed for: Icicle of pheasant with mushrooms of season, juice of roast and truffle, of inlet; Celeiro's Hake with lemon and juice of peppers, of principal plate; and Almond, apple and albariño, of dessert.
A juror of exception received Great Final this one, integrated for:

• Mey Hofmann (1 star Michelin, Rte. Hofmann)
• Adolfo Muñoz (restorer, owner of Grupo Adolfo Restauración)
• Fausto Airoldi (representative of the WACS-World Association of Cook Societies
• Oscar Teixidó (teacher of the School of Hotel and catering business(Hotel management) and Tourism CETT of Barcelona)
• Pepe Salmerón (teacher of the Center of Tourist Qualification of Murcia CCT).
The CCA is a biennial contest directed the professionals of the world of the kitchen(cuisine) of the whole Spain that takes the above mentioned profession as an aim(lens) prestigiar and to reward the best chef of the country. The CCA is organized by the Group Caterdata and takes as a sponsor principal Food that compromises itself with the launch(throwing) of these young values of the contemporary kitchen(cuisine).
