Alimentaria encourages exports to the US and Canadian markets

Given its international vocation and service to the food industry, Alimentaria builds a bridge over the ocean to the North American markets. The USA and Canada Project proposes distribution meetings with US and Canadian agents (two major superpowers) to promote the export of food products on display at Alimentaria to these North American markets.

Along the same lines of other successful internationalization initiatives, such as the Latin America Project or the EU-10 Project, Alimentaria, with the help of FIAB and ICEX, places a determined bet on a global market. Through Alimentaria, Canada and the USA have the chance to establish business contacts with Spanish companies. The initiative is based on the will for the food industry to find new markets to promote its products.

In this sense, from importers to chains and gourmet stores, including restaurants and food services, agents from all distribution channels attend the meeting. A list of Spanish exporters is provided, so that it is easier to arrange interviews and facilitate purchase and sale operations involving Spanish food products.

The USA and Canada Project is closely sponsored by the COPCA office in Los Angeles, The Spain - U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Trade Chamber of Barcelona.
