Interlact, the show with the greatest number of innovative products at Alimentaria 2008

More than 160 companies and thousands of products displayed in 6,000m2 of exhibition space will turn Interlact into a unique showcase for the newest developments in the milk and dairy industry. Thanks to the dynamic activity of this sector, this show will be one of the areas at Alimentaria with the greatest number of innovations per square metre. From milks that relax you and yoghurts that taste like cake to milkshakes with guarana, the results of companies' strong R&D&I initiatives will be apparent to all professionals visiting this area. As a complement to this showcase for new products, the "Spain, the Land of 100 New Cheeses!" exhibit will make it possible for visitors to become familiar with the latest cheeses produced in Spain.

Dozens of national and international firms regularly attend Interlact, Alimentaria's area for milk and dairy products. Spain's top ten producers as well as companies from Belgium, the United Kingdom and Cyprus are just a few of the exhibitors who have confirmed their presence at the upcoming edition of the show. Of special relevance will be the participation of Italian businesses at Interlact 2008.

Other stars of Interlact will be value-added products, products with functional properties and heretofore-unimaginable mixtures. At a time when innovation represents a strategic requirement for the food and beverage industry of the 21st century, a look at Interlact -the most cutting-edge show at Alimentaria- will provide key ideas for succeeding in the industry's future.

Spain, the Country of 100 Cheeses - New!
As a way of introducing professionals to the latest innovations in the world of cheeses, Interlact is hosting the "Spain, Land of 100 New Cheeses!" exhibit. This exhibit will show off national cheeses from every corner of the country, all with one feature in common: their innovative and groundbreaking nature.
