Expoconser, strategically situated within Alimentaria's exhibition area

Vegetables, fish and shellfish are the clear stars of Expoconser, Alimentaria's area devoted to preserved and semi-preserved food products. The nearness of this show to Interpesca -the seafood, aquaculture and farmed fish products show- and Congelexpo –the frozen food show, will ensure that exhibitors and visitors benefit from strong synergies among the product areas.

Expoconser is Alimentaria's show for preserved and semi-preserved foods. This exhibition area -where more than 140 companies from the industry will gather- will make it possible to view the results of constant R&D&I efforts in the tinned products sector.

Expoconser will share an exhibition area at Alimentaria with Interpesca –the seafood, aquaculture and farmed fish show- and Congelexpo –the frozen food show. These three exhibition areas have profound ties, and consequently strong synergies are bound to emerge. For example, the educational conferences to be held at Interpesca will include several events related to preserved and semi-preserved products.

As a result of the sector’s excellent performance, the preserved and semi-preserved products show –which has the unconditional support of the National Association of Preserved Fish and Seafood Manufacturers (ANFACO)- will increase its exhibition space by 400m2 (from 5,000m2 in 2006 to 5,400m2 in 2008).
