Vinorum is the ideal space in which to delve into the world of viniculture, oenology and pairing, all within the framework of Intervin, Alimentaria's Wine and spirits show. This 5th edition of Vinorum presents an extensive program of activities, with the participation of prestigious experts and the presence of renowned wineries from all over Spain.
Lecture - John Radford, a great expert on Spanish wines
Vinorum offers exhibitors and visitors an attractive program of lectures and guided tastings with leading experts. Discussions will cover subjects of great interest for the viticulture sector, such as the value of brands, the role of guides and rating, and how to make use of Internet 2.0 to attract new consumers. Highlights will include a master lecture by John Radford, prestigious British journalist and writer, who will reflect on how to improve international awareness of Spanish wines.
Spanish Wine Tasting Bar - Making the professional's work easier
Vinorum includes this new tasting bar, intended to facilitate the work of professionals from the sector who visit Alimentaria. In a single space, professionals will be able to taste wines they are interested in and discover new ones in a relaxed environment, choosing from an extensive selection of Spanish wines, conveniently categorized and with the necessary identifying information.
Ibérico en Compañía Restaurant - Enjoy Ibérico products, wine and olive oil
A new gathering place open to all those who wish to enjoy and learn more about Ibérico, its cuisine and pairing possibilities with fine olive oils and wines. PDO Ibérico de Bellota Ham with Coca bread, Salad with Ibérico de Bellota cured Loin and goat cheese, Ibérico Sirloin medallion with apple compote … up to ten exquisite options prepared with the best of Ibérico, paired with premium extra virgin olive oils and select wines.
Taste & Flavours of Spain - Where Ibérico, wine and olive oil come together
All of these activities will take place in the new multi-purpose space Taste & Flavours of Spain, located in the lobby area of Pavilion 3 in Fira de Barcelona's Gran Vía venue. Alimentaria 2010 will be dedicating this area to conveying the qualities of three outstanding products that share a place at the heart of our cuisine: wine, Ibérico and olive oil.
