INNOVAL 2010 means differentiation
Edition after edition, every aspect of INNOVAL continues to grow. More participating companies, more innovative products and more showcases. INNOVAL captures the attention of Alimentaria buyers and exhibitors. In fact, at its last edition, it brought in 62,000 visitors, meaning that almost one out of every two professionals who attended Alimentaria 2008 visited INNOVAL.
Promoting brands in an environment which makes it more necessary than ever is one of the strategic values of Alimentaria 2010. INNOVAL will be an accurate reflection of this, providing solutions for the food and beverage industry.
INNOVAL 2010 will demonstrate that branding is synonymous with safety, confidence, progress, development, quality, business, and job creation. It will place special emphasis on the brand as an essential focal point for innovation within the sector.
At Alimentaria, Innoval once again becomes a platform for integration and interaction among manufacturing, the distribution channel and retail.
Innoval presents four knowledge areas
In the first place the buying experience, where is given – through drivers time and efficiency, accessing information, sustainable practices, universal accessibility, security and control, and new experiences - the vision of the technological suppliers on aspects related to the purchase experience. These areas reflect practical and new solutions through actual demonstrations, having the supplier presence as Wincor Nixdorf, Bizerba, Trumedia, Mil-tek, Luxury Graphics, Esteban Espuña, Samsung or A.G. Protectpack.
On the other hand, the product and innovation area, understood as a consequence of the applied knowledge of own brands, which is visualized through an exposed product exhibition in display cabinets and an interesting testimonial report with statements of the people responsible for R&D and innovation and Marketing of the main companies.
A third area called brands and innovation, where the last promotion actions are presented of companies of the food industry through an interactive table that gives different types of messages.
Finally, the competitiveness area in which different business parks, institutions and companies such as a Barcelona Centre de Disseny, Azti-Tecnalia, Agro-food City of Tudela, Parc Científic i Tecnològic Agroalimentari de Lleida (PCiTAL)–Mercolleida or the Triptolemos Foundation will show his decided bet in the chapter of R&D and innovation.
INNOVAL Awards
The INNOVAL Awards recognise the most novel creations in the food and beverage industry, presented by product category. With these awards, INNOVAL 2010 will honour the work of the industry in conceiving, developing and launching the most innovative products of the past two years, since the close of Alimentaria 2008.
These awards are the finishing touch for Alimentaria’s most cutting-edge space, an important focal point for potential buyers, opinion leaders, agents in the food and beverage chain and the media.
