In response to repeated requests from Alimentaria exhibitors and visitors, for the first time, the show will opt for concentration at its next edition. The event will be held in Fira de Barcelona’s modern Gran Vía venue, occupying this entire facility, which is located in L’Hospitalet del Llobregat. An ideal setting for one of the most important food and beverage industry trade shows in the world.
Alimentaria is divided into thirteen single-theme shows, each one specialising in a food product family: Intercarn, Interlact, Mundidulce, Expobebidas, Interpesca, Expoconser, Congelexpo, Intervin, Olivaria, Multiproducto, Organic Foods/Vegefruit and Restaurama. In addition, there are the Spanish Regional Pavilion and the International Pavilion, which represent participants grouped by place of origin. The show is therefore noteworthy for its division into sectors, making it a pioneer in establishing the Alimentaria model, a benchmark for food and beverage trade shows around the world.
