What do I have to do to exhibit at Alimentaria 2010?
In order to participate in the show, you must first complete the Registration form and fax it to +34 93 5679688, or contact us by email at comercial@alimentaria.com. Once your registration form has been received, a member of our sales team will contact you to determine the specific details of your participation.
How much will it cost to take part in Alimentaria 2010?
Each company has different needs and requires a personalised response. Please contact us, and together we will draw up a plan to suit your budget: drodriguez@alimentaria.com.
What is the deadline for deciding whether I want to participate?
The registration period for exhibitor companies ends a few months before the exhibition.
Who do I contact to get information or to hire services such as set-up, stand construction, etc.?
All of this information is available:
1.- In the Services Folder which the organisers will send out together with the exhibitor contract.
2.- Via the Internet, in the Exhibit section of this website.
3.- By ringing Servifira’s telephone customer service on 902 233 200.
What are the exhibition hours for exhibitors?
Exhibitors may enter the venue one hour before it opens to visitors and leave up to one hour after. Therefore, hours are 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m., Monday-Thursday and 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on Friday.
As an exhibitor company, how many exhibitor passes am I entitled to?
The organisers will provide each main exhibitor company with four exhibitor passes. In addition, one pass will be provided for every 5 m 2 –up to 100 m2-. For larger spaces, one pass will be provided for every additional10 m2.
Are there any rules which govern exhibitor participation?
Alimentaria has a set of rules which govern all aspects of the exhibition: from stand construction to deadlines and electrical supply. See the show’s Exhibitor Rules and Regulations, which can be found in the Services Folder.
How can I be sure to get a parking space at the venue during the exhibition?
Alimentaria exhibitors can hire parking spaces at Gran Vía venue by requesting them in advance using the Parking form found in the Services Folder. Use of these spaces is limited to the five days of the exhibition.
As an exhibitor, what do I have to do to appear in the Official Catalogue?
Information is provided and submitted online. Exhibitor companies will receive a password which will enable them to access a restricted area of this website. This area contains all the information which the Alimentaria 2010 organisers have about each company. Exhibitors can update this information on the website so that it appears in the catalogue correctly.

How are the shows which make up Alimentaria organised?
Alimentaria was the first exhibition to opt for a model which divides the exhibition area into sections in order to make visiting easier for professionals, allowing them to make the most of their time at the exhibition and promote exchanges between exhibitor companies from the same sector.
How do I get my badge?
Alimentaria Barcelona is a Show for professionals of the agri-food sector. Non professional visitors are not allowed to attend this event. In order get you badge quickly and easily, you can access to the on-line pre-registration system in the section “Visit” of our website. You can also purchase your ticket at the venue box office during the show opening days, by providing us with a document certifying your profession.
Where can I find a list of exhibitor companies?
The Official Catalogue includes a list of all Alimentaria 2010 exhibitors and can be obtained during the exhibition.
In addition to the product exhibition, are there any associated activities of interest to professionals from the sector?
Alimentaria is characterised by including a large number of activities related to the sector: conferences, competitions, tastings, demonstrations, samplings, etc. See the activities section for full details.
Do Alimentaria’s organisers offer any incentives for visits by groups of professionals from sector associations?
Alimentaria makes it easy for groups whose activity is closely linked to food and beverages to attend the event. Trade organisations, sector associations and students undertaking advanced studies related to the agri-food sector can visit the exhibition by contacting Visitor Services in advance.
Are there any facilities for visitors who drive to the event?
Alimentaria offers free parking at Sot del Migdia or pay parking at the Gran Vía venue.

I want to be accredited as a member of the press to attend Alimentaria. What do I have to do?
In order to attend as a member of the press, it is necessary to complete the accreditation request that you will find in the Registration section of this website. It is also possible to obtain accreditation in the press area at Alimentaria if one of the following applies to you:
- You are a journalist and can provide proof that you work for a general, financial or technical media organisation – related to food and beverages.
- You work for a communication agency.
- You are a salesperson for a media outlet.
Where can I pick up my press pass?
Passes for journalists and professionals from communication agencies and the media are not sent out in advance. They can be collected in the press room at the Gran Vía venue during the entire event.
Does the press room have any work equipment?
The press room has computers equipped with standard programs, as well as an Internet connection.
What are the hours for the press room?
The press room has the same hours as the exhibition.
