The Alimentaria Experience is the ultimate gastronomic space at the trade show which will be hosting Master Classes, workshops and numerous show-cooking sessions. An entertaining proposition designed to arouse the interest of everyone at Alimentaria with a stake in the Horeca channel.
 
At this third edition, a more gourmet-driven and experiential The Alimentaria Experience will be showcasing all the innovation and creativity of the catering world without losing sight of the traditions, authenticity and culinary diversity of Spain.

Gourmet activities

The Alimentaria Experience is designed so that through the different planned activities visitors to Alimentaria can have a wonderful gastronomic experience alongside the chefs from the restaurants that have achieved the top ratings in the best gastronomic guides.

Culinary Master Workshop

A private, intimate space limited to 22 people offering unique presentations by some of the most influential chefs on the Spanish and international scene, where you can savour their creations and experience the session interactively.

Show-cooking sessions

In the four areas set up for show-cooking, visitors will learn new culinary techniques from more than 30 cooking demonstrations by some of the top chefs on the current scene.

Culinary Classroom

This area will host tasting sessions, presentations and demonstrations of new techniques and products. There will also be an extensive programme of presentations on the latest products and trends.

Chef of The Year Competition Grand Final

Eight promising young talents in Spanish cuisine will face off in a prestigious competition open to professional chefs living in Spain.

After the final at The Alimentaria Experience in 2016, the jury of acclaimed Spanish chefs proclaimed Raúl Resino from the Raúl Resino Olivares restaurant (Benicarló, Castellón) as the winner of the VI Chef of the Year Competition.
