The Alimentaria ExperienceThe Alimentaria Experience is a space hosting different activities which enable the Alimentaria visitors to enjoy live gastronomy experiences, with renowned chefs from some of the best restaurants in the world.

At the centre of The Alimentaria Experience stand the Gastronomic Partners, important companies from the restauration industry, which invest a great deal of their efforts in gastronomy and innovation, thus marking the trends in this sector.

With more than 4.000 sqm, The Alimentaria Experience (Restaurama sector) included the following activities:

Gastronomic shows

  • Culinary Master Workshops: The most influential and award-winning chefs will give master classes to a small audience that will be able to taste their creations and experience the session interactively.
     
  • Showcookings: In the 4 cooking stations, the visitors could learn new culinary techniques during more than 30 live demonstrations with some of the best chefs of the moment.
     
  • Culinary classroom: This area hosts tastings, presentations and demonstrations of new techniques and products.
     
  • Simultaneous showcooking sessions: The Alimentaria Experience repeated the successful experience of four simultaneous show cooking sessions, featuring 4 chefs in action simultaneously, who displayed the most innovative version of their home countries' cuisine.
     
  • CCA Grand Final: Eight promising young talents in Spanish cuisine faced off on 28th of April in an open and prestigious competition for professional chefs residing in Spain. After the grand finale, the jury, comprised of exceptional national and international chefs, declared Raúl Resino from the Raúl Resino Olivares Restaurant (Benicarló, Castellón) as the winner of this sixth edition of the Chef of the Year Competition.

Gran Final VI CCA

Eight promising young talents in Spanish cuisine will face off on 28th of April in an open and prestigious competition for professional chefs residing in Spain. The finalists, who will compete against each other in the final of the VI Chef of the Year Competition (CCA), will be selected in four preliminary rounds.
